I just had to share. This single image has actually prompted me to book a little family holiday and seek out some sun.
And where are we going I hear you ask?
Why Queensland of course, because that’s where all families with small children and babies travel!
About 6 years ago the reality of becoming a family was well and truly pointed out to me when I was booking a trip to New York for my man and I. We were newly engaged and wanted a fun trip to eat, shop and see friends. And that’s just what we had. BUT, when we were booking my friendly travel agent snorted and said:
“You’d better make the most of this trip – you’ll be spending all your future holidays in Queensland once the kids come along!” (Cue throwing head back and laughter.)
Gulp. She was right. We’ve been to Queensland more than a few times post baby and here we go again. The kids are excited (they’re yet to know the thrill of New York – my favourite destination). But I’m super excited too.
So tell me, what holiday plans do you have now you’re on the ‘family track’?
How do you find travelling with your babe?
Are you a Queensland go-er like us or are you more the ‘backpack around South America with a baby’ type. Cos if you are, then I definitely want to hear from YOU!
