One of the biggest problems I had when I was a new mum was the layout of my upstairs/downstairs house and what to do with all the nappies I was changing. With a tiny baby and all the other new things I was juggling it meant that dirty nappies just had to wait around in their disposal bag until I found the time to dispose of them.
And in the early days with a newborn time just vanishes! Plus, I didn’t want to take my eyes off my baby just to deal with rubbish.
So, this Ubbi Nappy Pail would have been absolutely brilliant for me. I was raving about it to one of my Essential ladies recently and then lucky me I was offered one to give away at The Baby Workshop!
So here’s why it’s so good. Made from powder coated steel it (so it doesn’t absorb odour) it’s got super strong rubber seals and a sliding lid, so the nappy pong isn’t wafting into the nursery when you side it open.
It fits standard kitchen bags (one of the hassles of the other options on the market) and for the cloth nappy parents out there you can also get a fabric bag to pop inside rather than plastic.
You’re still going to be wanting to empty your Ubbi bin at the end of each day but it takes the stress, mess and stink out of all the changes so you can concentrate on the most important job at hand -your bub!
It’s also really important your nursery is safe once your baby is on the move, so it’s got a child proof open.
They’ve added even more gorgeous colours so you’ll definitely find one that complements your nursery design. Pretty price friendly too… $79.95 from The Stork Nest.
