So where do we all go when we want to ask a question, learn about something, see stuff? The Internet, of course! And our need for information goes into serious overdrive once that little bean is mysteriously growing in our bellies. There are forums and websites and images and blogs and all sorts of ways in which you can feed the need for baby bump info!

- BubHub: www.bubhub.com.au For info on birthing options, a parents directory, forums, product reviews…
- Huggies: www.huggies.com.au Ok, so this one is motivated by the desire to poach your nappy dollar but I found the regular emails pretty informative, plus they do some great giveaways annually (usually toys from Early Learning Centre)
- Babyology: www.babyology.com.au “Babyology gives you daily information on unique and fabulous children’s products from around the globe. We also provide a place for you to discuss kids gear with other parents and help you choose and compare major products.”
Forums are a great way to learn about loads of from real people. Essential Baby’s forum on ‘Sleep’ gave me great comfort when my daughter was around 6 months and WOULD NOT sleep for longer than 40 minutes during the day (this was not enough the helpful manuals were telling me). On consulting the forums I learned that there were a lot more people out there that had bigger problems than me. Phew!
If you want some company during your pregnancy sites like Essential Baby to have a ‘Due in’ group where you can see what other expectant mums due at the same time as you are going through.
