What’s new with the Bugaboo Cameleon-3? September has finally rolled around and stores in Australia have had their deliveries of the new Bugaboo Cameleon 3. This pram is so loved by so many, so what changes can you expect from the new version?
1. It’s now much easier to unfold, you are able to unpack and set up the pram with one hand, none of this feet kicking out the bottom bar. It swings out without barely any effort and clicks into place firmly.
2. The shopping basket underneath where you place your baby has been upsized just the right amount to allow for greater carrying space. Perfect for mums who have already reached there limit with all the baby whips, nappies and everything else we carry when going out for the day to ensure we are prepared for anything that happens.
3. They have simplified the brake mechanism increasing the safety and minimising the opportunity for any confusion to occur. Now the system is a ‘one click’ brake rather than the old ‘3 clicks and it’s on’.
4. The bumper bar has now been designed to allow for pivot rotation making the whole process much easier to open.
5. The handlebar extending now clicks into place at each level giving you a greater variety of height options. This allows you to really set the pram up to your exact requirements and can be changed easily depending if you are running behind or walking in high heels.
6. The interior of the bassinette has the supports sewn in so they can’t be misplaced (you can still remove them to collapse it though meaning it’s slightly more compact than the previous version.)
7. The footrest on the seat has been extended a little to allow more space for when the baby grows up. Giving you the ability to use your pram deep into the toddler years and potentionally even older.
The Bugaboo Cameleon 3 is still one of the smoothest rides going and a great all rounder from baby to toddler. Don’t forget you’ve got the option of a travel system too. Some great improvements to an already great, (much lusted after!) pram.
